- Hey all,
long time no see! I'm kinda sorta back, but not really, as I can't
actually upload my updates myself thanks to a long and complicated
string of phone problems which, through no fault of my own, see
me left without an internet connection. Thank me living in a shared
household for that. If you want to know more about the wonderful
life of me, check out my BLOG
OF DOOM. I dare ya. I'm a little behind the ball on reviews,
but you can look forward to the final volumes of Steel Angel Kurumi
soon, along with reviews of Onegai Teacher, Chobits, RahXephon and
quite possibly some other stuff. Look at you. You've just wet your
pants. I hope it's because you're anticipating said reviews so much
and not because you're a small child. Anyhow, hopefully it won't
be too much longer till this battle station is fully operational.
But remember, the ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next
to the power of the force.

- Just
posting to let you know we are still alive just busy with life... It
just so happens that the whole team unexpectedly became tied up at
the same time. Oh well I guess its just that time of year.
But in any
case I'd just like to draw your attention to our trading forum. You can find
some great anime DVD and Merchandise bargains. So head over there and see
what's for sale.

-Hey Folks!
Our resident cartoonist Daniel aka Gerkinman has done another animation
for our viewing pleasure. It's called Gerkinman
goes to Supanova. It has a lot of cameo appearances from the
people that were out Supanova 03. I recommend the download
as it's uber joyous and a big improvement over the first episode.
In
other news, I've been trying to organise a new comp with Anime Anytime.
I'm just waiting to talk with some of the ai.com crew, which have
seemed to disappear off the face of the planet. Sauceman, who use
to update has had some weird phone bill conflicts and RaVen is organising
something for he's future.. er or something. Anyway I'll let you
know more goss as it arrives.

The past week I have had two animation movies sent to me. They are
Gerkinman by
Daniel Elliott and a Tomb
Raider short movie by Henrique Lundeqvist. So head out to the
animation section
to check them out, they are both fantastic. I have also put the
Entra Track preview
back up on the server, so you will get a chance to view it, if you
haven't done so.

- NEW
SERVER!
Yep that's right the new server is up and running and in case you
haven't noticed its nice and fast. On that note you may have noticed
that there have been slight changes to the site in regard to the
headers etc. So I though it only fit to update with all new link
banners:
You can see
the whole set in the links section. If you have an AI.com link on your site or
would like to add one there is an assortment of banner sizes for you to choose
from. We are now also offering a link exchange, If you would like us to link to
your website add one of our links to your site and then email me at: raVen
I will check your site for the link and then add it to the site.
Last of all
we apologise for the forum down time it was due to the sever move but it should
be up and running properly now. The good news is that thanks to our great new
server we will be upgrading the forums very shortly so hold your breath... I
SAID HOLD YOUR BREATH!
Never
mind ^_^

- Yo!
We have just done a major update to the About
Us page and each profile now contains a blog.
If you don't know what a blog is, it's basically
a journal. So we have one of those for each staff member which will
let you know a bit more about our lives and what we get up to in
our spare lives. It's almost as bad as a reality TV show. Raven
designed all the blog pages, so I must commend him on a job well
done. We also have new profile portraits thanks to our new member
and resident artist Shian Lawler (welcome aboard).
Also if you haven't noticed, I've changed the banners around, to
suite are t-shirt design and such a bit better. Anyway's, here's
links to the Blogs that have been updated:

- Uuse!
The AV Connection Con was on last weekend. I had
an uber fab joyous time. I got to meet some of the Madman crew,
who are all top blokes. I also met fantastic people from interstate
such as Zadie, Alan, Elly, Bing, you rock! I didn't end up watching
much anime or playing video games. It was more of a socialising
event and blowing lots of cash. Lots of fun was had.
I ended up taking photos and I've just uploaded them. Click of the
button to have a look see and a bit of a giggle.

hopefully not to far away... Anyhow, just to prove to you all that
I haven't been completely neglecting my duties during my absence,
I shall shower you with several new reviews of some recent releases
from myself and the resident uber-reviewing-machine Weis (who i
should say sorry too, since I told him i'd have these reviews up
a month ago ^^;)!

Box and T-shirt) Steel

I asked Shian our resident artist to do a wallpaper for me of Akabane
Kuroudo, an uber fab character out of the new series Get Backers
which I'm currently hooked on. She did a fantastic job so I thought
I'd display it on the main page.
